Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care Agency is a newly certified Foster Care Agency by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services affiliated with the Bethesda World Harvest International Church.
The goal of Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care Agency is to provide strength based, culturally competent, and goal directed services for the children and families in their care.
Our agency uses a working model that is nonjudgmental, empathetic, respectful and supportive as we remain focused on children's best interests and permanence.
Sarah Minnie Badger Foster Care works closely with families to help them gain the skills they need to succeed and help children grow to their full potential while in foster care.
Services include
- Supervised Visitation.
- Supportive counseling to birth parents.
- Case management and linkage to community services/resources.
- A partnership approach toward reunification and permanence between birth parents, foster parent, and SMB staff.
